You will need an anti-cellulite treatment cream and moisturizer when doing the massage.  This will make it easier for you to glide your hands on your skin.  And of course, you get to take advantage of the benefits that come with cellulite creams.  When doing the massage, you should start with a gentle massage, then follow up with the following steps.  Massage with long sweeping strokes using your fingers and palm.  Massage with circular motions using your fingers and palm.  Pinch your skin gently, pulling it away from your body and moving it to different directions.  Do these steps alternately.

Massage at Home – Using Machines

You can actually purchase cellulite machines for your own regular use at home.  These devices use the same technology as those used at non-surgical clinics and beauty salons.  They are portable but are less powerful though.

Massage Therapists

If you wish to get a more effective treatment, you may want to have a trained massage therapist do all the hard work for you.  As you can imagine, this is a more convenient option, since you only need to sit back and relax.  Cost for a session ranges from $40 – $70.

Non-Surgical Clinics and Beauty Salons – Commercial Machine Massagers

This may be the most effective of all the cellulite massage treatment options.  This type of cellulite treatment is offered in beauty salons, spas and cosmetic surgeons' clinics.  Therapists often utilize devices which use mechanical massage combined with radio wave therapy or laser technology. One session costs around $80 – $150.
